Loopy Tunes

A selection of the material we have received from UKIP and some of their fellow travellers!

1. "I have been a Labour voter all my life but i will never again vote for your party.  You and your kind make me ashamed to be British, your party and it's elected officials have lost touch with the electorate. Mr Farages comments are 'real' as in your comments were definitely not.Your party 'promised' a referendum, anything less is just a lie. Disgusted."

2. "Dear Mr Gary Titley MEP Mr Farage MEP represents me in the European Parliament and I do not expect him to apologise for failing to recognise the political speech made by HRH Prince Charles. I am also embarrassed; that a member of our Royal Family has condoned the authority of the un-democratic EU at a time when despite the backing of the majority of the British people they are refused a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, based upon the most spurious of excuses. The majority of British MEPs peddle the lies and deceit of the Labour government in the knowledge that their pensions are dependent on their blind adherence to EU/Party line. Mr Farage has more patriotism in his little finger than you and your Group put together. Roll on June 2008."

3. "Titley by name and TITley by nature.

Just because all you labour sheep decided to give big ears a standing ovation for his speech on a subject he knows absoloutely nothing about, doesn't mean everyone else has to. This isn´t soviet russia, Britain is a democracy and people have ther right to disagree, and when you bear in mind that most ordinary brits are fed up with europe and frankly petrified by the new United States of Europe constitution dressed up as a treaty, I´m glad that at least one politician made his dissaproval known. It shows he´s got balls, and i like that.

You on the other hand look and act like the typical yes man politician, supporting that idiot gordon brown in his plans to turn Britain into nothing more than a region of the great nation of Europe just to help yourself climb up that slippery pole. Well let me tell you this, i hope you do slip and fall hard on your fat, blubbery arse. The people of this country are not going to let you and your collegues push us into a united europe, you can pressure people only to a point, and then they snap like wild animals

P.s. I saw your photo on the website and you look like a paedophile"

 4. " I think that it is people like you that should be apologising to the British public, because you are part of a spineless and worthless party that promised the British people a vote on the EU constitution and now refuses it on a treaty that has just a different name but with substantially the same content.  You are a member of a party that I think tries to weaken and destroy Britain.  Immigration, EU, high taxes, millions wasted in Iraq.

You people must think the public is stupid???  We notice every bit of Euro propaganda such as the new £20 note that looks suspiciously like a Euro note, the removal of British icons from the coinage such as Britannia, the merging of military regiments that have existed for hundreds of years, the surrender of part of our rebate won by Mrs Thatcher for nothing in return, the shocking lack of teaching of British history in school because you people care more about offending foreigners and minorities than teaching British kids how great and glorious their country WAS.  Maybe if we taught our people history they would know that Britain always did excellently, expanding its power around the world until another conflict in Europe came along and ruined our hard work every time.

The electoral system in Britain isn't even fair, when Northern England, Scotland and Wales, the Labour areas, have electorates that are over represented with MPs at the expense of England and the South.

I am glad to say that I am leaving this ridiculous, pathetic excuse for a country and moving to America, where the politicians have balls and stand up for their people.  (I am not a scrounging immigrant either like the ones we let in Britain, I am a law graduate and am actually taking something to contribute)."

5. "Sir You seem to not know the meaning of “disloyalty and discourtesy” and yet the Labour Party have been just that to their members.  Promising a referendum on the EU and then pretending it’s not the same agenda – pathetic.  I was neither for or against but was waiting for a referendum and a proper discussion of the merits of being in Europe.  Now I am against on principle.   The Labour government have treated us as idiots and have certainly acted in a disloyal and discourteous manner – it will open the door to a Conservative win at the next election and it will be your own fault. If Prince Charles feels it is the right time to make political comments he should be treated like a politician – which means in the country (at the moment)  that we can choose to disagree and not stand up and clap something we do not agree with. Before you start throwing stones, you need to look at your own party and weep."

6.  "Dear Sir, I have just read a story on the BBC where it states that you were “disgusted” by Mr. Farage’s behaviour Well sir, I in turn am disgusted with your behaviour in that you saw fit to give a standing ovation to a member of the Royal Family who is advocating giving more power to the EU. I am no fan of Mr Farage, however I would prefer there were more of his ilk within the European Parliament than people such as yourself who are ever more willing to cede powers to faceless, unelected bureaucrats. I read on your web-site that you will be standing down at the next elections. What excellent news, hopefully a person more suitable to fight for Britain will be elected."
